I was walking through a seedy spot
lit with lanterns the evening's hot
thinking of events from the previous plot
the job from the mercenary scarz got me paid heavy
proof im the best in the biz I aim steady
now its starting to drizzle skyline darken
approached by tech merchants selling modified organs
exoskeletal flesh customized skin
I declined Im comfortable in the skin Im in
as im strolling through this city of sin
I got a call on the neurolink hit the button for receiving
it was tiger lily she was offering a threesome
asked if I was spicing up my evening
and their willing to meet
in a room up in stimulus street
and she claim she been giddy all week
thinking about it
talking all strange like her memory is clouded
but hey thats two pieces of ass you know im bout it
so I agreed and ended the call time for action
cant help but feel like something shadys bout to happen
the signs lit by neon and as I walk past em
above me flew an ad with a cybernetic dragon
thats advertizing a fantasy
quite laughably
this is a place where expectation meets reality
the virtual space that all these people are living in
different from whats actually seen by a citizen
but who am I to judge I profit from all the tech
the health upgrades robotics and all but yet
the synthetic hustle weapons are kept what I detect
is a yearning for the money the power the respect
as I step towards the telly where tiger lily would wait
I wonder if she brought an android for our date
will I walk away from this experience feeling great?
or is this just a setup that would seal my fate?
